Coming into the Hipster range, the Hipster Twin Pro is a call to arms, from a testing session inspired by a customer request: a twinny that excels in bigger waves and vertical sections.
Width and rail volume have both been brought down to provide a twin fin that comes alive when the waves get a little juicier, and length has been added to slim the outline to a more sleek version of its more versatile siblings.
These tweaks allow you to take off a little later, or a little deeper, and then push a little harder, while maintaining that accelerated carve that the twin fin provides.
A bit of salt and pepper to push this step up Hipster Twin real good.

Compared to its more accessible siblings, the outline of the Hipster Twin Pro has been stretched out, making it narrower and slightly longer, while the nose area has been reduced. This provides extra paddle speed, faster rail-to-rail transitions on the wave while allowing the board to fit in hollower sections, at the expense of stability.
Aside from the sleeker outline, rail volume has also been brought down to offer more grip and less bogs in turns and on steep walls, thanks to the reduced buoyancy and increased sensitivity.
Over to the bottom, the slightly lower tail rocker helps to generate and harness speed while the increase nose rocker prevents from catching on late drops and vertical turns in the pocket.
The bottom shape has also been ever slightly tweaked, but keeps the mono-concave that feeds into a double concave and releases into a V at the tail for blistering speed and accelerations, with control and quick rail-to-rail transitions.
These subtle and less subtle differences come together in a board that allows you to take off later and deeper, and push those rails harder while maintaining that sweet acceleration through carves that the twin fins are known for.
The result is a step-up Hipster Twin that you can push to the limits, combining speed, looseness and control.

Construction
MoreThe Hipster Twin Pro is available in Parabolic Carbon PVC and Biax Carbon PVC constructions. Both technologies use a combination of fiberglass, wood and carbon fibers, with a full PVC wrap.

All boards feature EVA deck pads for comfort and grip. The SMIK carry handle is ergonomic and comfortable, for an easy and balanced walk down to the beach. All inserts are reinforced to prevent rip-outs.
