NEW SMIK Hipster Twin Pro
Building on the success of the Hipster Twin and Hipster Twin Pin, and their broad appeal for riders seeking performance without sacrificing stability, the new Hipster Twin Pro is a call to arms, inspired by numerous customer requests.
Inspired by the exact shapes ridden by our team riders, the Hipster Twin Pro enters the range with four sizes which aim to provide a twinny that excels in bigger, juicier waves and vertical sections.

Certain changes, like the reduced width and increased length, are obvious at first glance. When comparing dimensions of the original Hipster Twin V2 8'0 to its Pro sibling, the Pro version is 2.5" / 6.3 cm narrower for the same length. Nose area has also been reduced, for a massive 22 liters difference compared to its more accessible relative.
The longer outlines and narrower widths provide extra paddle speed to catch those big ones, with faster rail-to-rail transitions on the wave, improved grip and less rail bogs.
Aside from the slimmed out outline, the rail volume has also been brought down, offering more grip in turns and on steep walls due to the reduced buoyancy and increased sensitivity.
The slightly lower tail rocker and increased nose rocker allow to generate and harness speed while preventing the nose from catching on drops and turns.
These subtle and not so subtle differences allow you to take off a little later, and a little deeper, and then push that Hipster Pro a little harder, all the while maintaining that sweet acceleration through carves that the twin fins are known for.
The result is a sort of step-up Hipster Twin that you can push to the limits, combining looseness, speed and control.
